Shirley Bleechmore is an emerging abstract artist. Her art is influenced by her Chinese culture and past where noise, colour and celebrative occasions played a major part in her life, and her present surroundings of the serene Lake Macquarie.
Shirley's medium is predominantly acrylics, charcoal, aerosols and gestured drips to convey different subject matters. Experimentation and her instinctive approach using multiple layers of colour, different styles and materials to create different effects embrace her innate desire to produce and create unique pieces of artwork to be enjoyed by all.
